The Hollow Crown is a British television series which aired from 30 June 2012 to 21 May 2016 on BBC Two. It is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's history plays. The first series is an adaptation of Shakespeare's second historical tetralogy, the Henriad: Richard II, Henry IV, Part 1, Henry IV, Part 2 and Henry V and aired in 2012.
