This item is an 8x10 b/w scene of the famous 'dropped third strike' by Brooklyn catcher Mickey Owen (1916-2005). The hitter was Tommy Henrich of the New York Yankees, who ran to first base, rather than striking out. If he had not dropped the ball, Brooklyn would have won the world series. The result of the error was a Yankee rally that allowed them to win the World Series. This item is signed by both Owen and Henrich.
