Maria Checa is a Colombian-American model and actor born in Bogotá, Colombia, on July 29, 1970. Raised in Florida, she studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art and the New World School of the Arts in Miami. She was named Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for August 1994 and later appeared in several Playboy video releases.
