Ludwig Dieter, born Sebastian Schlencht-Wöhnert, is the central character of Army of Thieves, portrayed by Matthias Schweighöfer. Introduced as a quiet German bank teller with an obsessive interest in safes and lock mechanisms, he is recruited into a crew of international thieves because of his exceptional safecracking ability.
