George Romney
(1907-1995) George Romney was an American businessman and Republican politician who served as governor of Michigan and later as U.S. secretary of housing and urban development under President Richard Nixon. Born in Galeana, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Mormon parents, he was raised in the United States after his family left Mexico during the upheaval of the Mexican Revolution.
