Barnard Hughes
(1915-2006) Bernard Aloysius Kiernan "Barnard" Hughes was an American actor. His most successful roles came after middle age, and he was often cast as a dithering authority figure or grandfatherly elder. He won the 1978 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play.
