Thereupon Azog came forth, and he was a great Orc with a huge ironclad head, and yet agile and strong. Azog was an Orc "king" of the Third Age who commanded the tribes of Moria until his death in TA 2799. He was responsible for the death of the Dwarven King Thrór.
