Col. Rex T. Barber (deceased) was a WWII USAAF ace with 5 kills, and is remembered for flying the secret mission in which he shot down the plane carrying Admiral Yamamoto, the man who planned the Pearl Harbor attack. This piece contains a color print of Barber's plane shooting down the 'Betty' carrying Yamamoto, matted with a brief description of the mission, and his increasingly rare signature. The item is professionally double matted, measures 11.75x17.75 and is made with acid free materials, ready to be framed.
