(1890-1965) Silent Film and vaudeville stage actor, he appeared in his first 'Laurel and Hardy' film with Oliver Hardy in 1927's 'Duck Soup', and then did countless films as a comic dou with Hardy thereafter, establishing a place in Hollywood forever. He received an SAG Lifetime achievement award and a Special Honorary Acadamy Award for his contributions to the art. This piece contains a great b/w portrait professionally double matted with a vintage signed typed note. The note mentions 'Sing Sing', 'Alcatraz' and his poor health! It is dated 1962 and is signed 'Stan'. This is scorching! Overall size is 10x16 and it was made using only acid free materials.
