(1889-1977) Actor, director, screenwriter and producer of early Hollywood film, he was nicknamed 'The Little Tramp' because of his appearance. He won an Honorary Academy Award in 1972 for his "incalculable effect" in the motion picture industry. Some of his best known works are 'The Kid, The Gold Rush and The Circus'. This mat contains a great b/w photo of Chaplin matted with a vintage signature. The signature comes from the personal collection of George Sanders, and carries a COA from his 'Autograph House'. The item is professionally double matted, measures 11x14 and is made with acid free materials, ready to be framed.
