William T. Sherman autographed Other
(1820-1891) American soldier, businessman, educator, and author. He served as a general in the United States Army during the American Civil War (1861–65), served under General Ulysses S. Grant in 1862 and 1863 and succeeded Grant as the Union commander in the western theater of the war. This item is an UNSIGNED original steel-engraving portrait of Sherman in uniform by A.H. Riche circa 1860s. The engraving is housed in a vintage oval album sleeve. The overall size is 7x9.5.
