Rogers and Hammerstein autographed First Day Cover
American songwriting duo who are most famous for creating many of Broadway's most popular musicals in the 1940s and 1950s. Their most famous shows are 'Oklahoma!', 'Carousel', 'South Pacific', 'The King and I' and 'The Sound of Music'. Over the years, they won thirty four Tony Awards, fifteen Academy Awards, two Pulitzer Prizes, two Grammy Awards and two Emmy Awards. This lot has an envelope signed by Richard Rogers (1902-1979) and an envelope signed by Oscar Hammerstein (1895-1960).
