Rogers and Hammerstein autographed Matted Ensemble
American songwriting duo who are most famous for creating many of Broadway's most popular musicals in the 1940s and 1950s. Their most famous shows are 'Oklahoma!', 'Carousel', 'South Pacific', 'The King and I' and 'The Sound of Music'. Over the years, they won thirty four Tony Awards, fifteen Academy Awards, two Pulitzer Prizes, two Grammy Awards and two Emmy Awards. This item has a great b/w portrait of them working at the piano. It has been professionally double matted with a signature of Richard Rogers (1902-1979) on a lined card, and Oscar Hammerstein (1895-1960) on a vintage album page. The overall size is 12x16 and it is ready to frame.
