Major General David Hunter autographed Matted Ensemble
(1802–1886) A Union general in the American Civil War. He achieved fame by his unauthorized 1862 order (immediately rescinded) emancipating slaves in three Southern states and as the president of the military commission trying the conspirators involved with the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. This item is a vintage original steel engraving that has been professionally double matted to an overall size of 11x14. It was assembled using all acid free materials and is ready to be framed.
