Henry A. Wise autographed Note or Letter

(1806-1876) American statesman and diplomat who served as a brigadier general in the Confederate army, where he fought beside Lee at Appomattox Court House. His most notable act as Governor of Virginia (1856–1859) was to sign the death warrant of famed abolitionist John Brown. This item is a handwritten note, that has been clipped from the bottom of a letter. There is some minor ink splatter. It was once folded.
