(1884-1972) The only U.S president to use the atomic bomb against a military target. Member of the Senate in 1934. In 1944 was elected candidate for vice-president of the USA. On April 12, 1945, he automatically became U.S. president after the death of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Elected president of the USA in 1948, for the period 1949-1953. This item is a signed 8.5x14 legal document. It was signed while he was the presiding judge of Jackson County, Missouri, on September 5, 1934. Imperfections: Minor Age Wear, Minor Bend or Crease
