Harry Truman autographed First Day Cover
(1884-1972) The only U.S president to use the atomic bomb against a military target. Member of the Senate in 1934. In 1944 was elected candidate for vice-president of the USA. On April 12, 1945, he automatically became U.S. president after the death of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Elected president of the USA in 1948, for the period 1949-1953. This item is a signed First Day Cover. It is also signed authentically by Alf M. Landon and Thomas E. Dewey. It is most probably secretarially signed by Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard Nixon and it has an autopen signature of Barry Goldwater.
