Harry Truman autographed Note or Letter
(1884-1972) The only U.S president to use the atomic bomb against a military target. Member of the Senate in 1934. In 1944 was elected candidate for vice-president of the USA. On April 12, 1945, he automatically became U.S. president after the death of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Elected president of the USA in 1948, for the period 1949-1953. This item is a signed, typed note dated August 31, 1962 on his personal letterhead from Independence, Missouri. It has the usual mailing folds.
