Calvin Coolidge autographed Document
(1872-1933) America's 30th President. Coolidge was elected vice president in 1920, and became president on August 2, 1923 upon the death of President Warren Harding. Coolidge was re-elected in by a huge majority in 1924. This item is a partly printed document that has been signed by Coolidge. It is the appointment of Jay B. Purcell as Postmaster at Ovid, Seneca, New York. It is countersigned by Harry S. New. It has folds at the edges and light offsetting thereon, well clear of the signature.
