Anti-Slavery Advocates autographed Matted Ensemble

This item is a vintage handwritten letter dated March 8, 1864 from A.L. Sturtevant mentioning anti-slave advocate Charles Sumner that has been professionally double matted with and ORIGINAL unsigned steel engraving by J.C. Buttre circa 1864, titled 'Eminent Opponents of the Slave Power' depicting twelve oval portraits of the slavery opponents, including one of Charles Sumner. The overall size is 12x16 and was assembled using all acid free materials.
