Anthony Eden autographed First Day Cover
(1897-1977) Authentic autographed vintage first day cover hand signed by Lord Avon also known as Anthony Eden, a British Conservative politician, who was Prime Minister from 1955 to 1957. The piece is also signed by his wife Clarissa, formerly Clarissa Spencer-Churchill, niece of Sir Winston. Eden also known as Lord Avon was also Foreign Secretary for three periods between 1935 and 1955, including during World War II.
