On August 9, 1945, the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki, Japan, which resulted in the end of World War Two. 'Bockscar' was the name of the airplane that dropped the bomb. This piece is a photograph montage of four different shots, signed by the Co-Pilot Fred Olivi. It is professionally double matted with the signatures of Pilot Charles Sweeney and Bombardier Kermit Beahan, who both added 9 August 1945 under their signature. This is a superb item, and it measures 15x15 and is made with acid free materials.
