Oscar winning director. He made such films as 'Mr. Smith Goes To Washington' and 'It's A Wonderful Life'. He is now deceased. This mat contains a typed letter on his letterhead from 1971, professionally double matted with a fantastic young portrait. The letter has routine content. He has become VERY DIFFICULT to find in vintage signature form! The overall size is 12x17 and it is made with all acid free materials.
