Rall served on the Eastern and Western fronts, rising to the rank of major and commanding fighter groups and entire squadrons. He finished World War II as the third-highest-scoring fighter ace of all time with 275 aerial victories. His final assignment was in the defense of the Reich itself. The piece contains a color print of his Bf-109 G2 at the Russian Steppes in the late summer of 1942, matted with a beautiful bold signature and a brief biography. The item is professionally double matted, measures 16x16 and is made with acid free materials, ready to be framed.
