Attempted assassin of President Gerald Ford. Now in prison. This is a handwritten letter which readst: "I did wonder man. You say you were jailed for trying to protect animals from suffocation, huh? I've never heard of a humane society agency euthanizing animals in that way. You mean cyanide? Gas? How did you think they were doing it? Good job. People can always and will always need mechanical services - unless they go back to bicycles, which could be nice change sometime. I don't know what you do during the holidays but I just want to say that it's good to see you've come up for air and to wish that you enjoy your time. L. Fromme". It is dated 12/16/97 and comes with the original mailing envelope. It also has two small color photos of Charles Manson, which she enclosed. She made note of the photos in her letter. Incredible piece!
