World War I hero and Congressional Medal of Honor winner. At the battle of Argonne, he charged a machine gun nest and captured 90 Germans by himself. It is one of the greatest individual military accomplishments in US History. He died in 1964. This item is a signed personal check, entirely in his hand, and dated June 10, 1931. Superb historical item. RARE! RARE!
