(1901-96) WWII Navy Admiral. Celebrated for his WW II exploits in the Pacific. He served an unprecedented three terms as Chief of Naval Operations (1955-61). This item is a signed typed letter dated 1993 on his 4-Star stationary. The letter reads as follows: 'Dear Ms. Lemelin, Thank you so much for your kind letter. I am delighted to be able to honor your request for some autographs. They are enclosed. The best to you and your young family. Sincerely, (signed Arleigh Burke).
