(1887-1935) Cartoonist. As a teenager he began working as a cartoonist for the 'Bloomington Sun Eye', graduating to the 'Chicago Tribune' in 1911, where his 'Andy and Min Gump' became one of the most popular comic strips of the era, that in 1922 brought him the first milion dollar syndicate contract. This item is a signed and inscribed sketch of Andy. This item measures ~4.5 X 4.25 and has some age staining on the paper.
