A first day cover which remembers 50 years of Air Mail service, signed by Charles Sweeney and Paul Tibbets. Sweeney was the pilot of 'Bockscar', the airplane that dropped the second atomic bomb on Nagasaki, Japan at the end of World War II. Tibbets was the pilot of the 'Enola Gay', the plane that dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan just a few days earlier. INCREDIBLE investment item.
