Basil Rathbone (1892-1967) and Nigel Bruce (1895-1953) starred in at least 6 films together as Holmes and Watson. This piece contains a b/w photo of the pair, matted with a bold, dark vintage pencil signature of Bruce, and a signature of Rathbone taken from a check. They are both extremely rare, and impossible to find together in one piece. The item is professionally double matted, measures 12x16 and is made with acid free materials, ready to be framed.
