He began flying for JG 52 at the age of 20, and at the end of the war, was turned over to the Russians and remained prisoner in the Gulag for over 10 years. The item contains a color book print of Hartmann's Bf-109 shooting down a Russian YAK and a brief biography matted with a RARE signature. This item is professionally double matted, measures 13x19, and is made with acid free materials, ready to be framed.
