This is a spectacular historical matted ensemble. It contains a color photo taken during the exploration of the Antarctic landscape, and a b/w photo of Sir Edmund Hillary and Sir Vivian Fuchs, matted with 2 FDC's, one signed by Sir Vivian Fuchs, commemorating Lincoln Ellsworth, Antarctic explorer, and the other by Sir Edmund Hillary, commemorating Polar explorers Kane, Greely, Stefansson, Peary and Henson. Hillary and Fuchs reached the South Pole in January of 1958. The item is professionally double matted, measures 16x20 and is made with acid free materials, ready to be framed.
