(1974) This item is the British rerelease poster (1999) for the first national distribution of 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' (the original 1974 release was limited to London, after which it was banned). It has signatures from the complete cast as well as signatures of four crew members. Each signer included their character name or (in the case of crewmembers) their roles, which are indicated here with the words in quotation marks. They are: Gunnar Hansen, “Leatherface”, Jim Siedow (1920-2003), “The Cook”, Edwin Neal, “The Hitchhiker”, Marilyn Burns, “Sally”, Paul Partain (1946-2005, “Franklin”, John Dugan, “Grandpa”, Allen Danziger, “Jerry, William Vail, “Kirk”, Teri McMinn, “Pam”, Roger Bartlett “Fool for a Blonde” (Roger’s group’s music was playing on the radio in the van.), Wayne Bell “Music, Sound”, Lou Perryman “Chainsaw Wrangler” (Lou was the assistant cameraman, but he also kept the chainsaw functioning.) and Bob Burns (1944-2004) “Art Director”. Each signature was obtained In Person by Gunnar Hansen between 2000 and 2004. This is exceedingly RARE as there are only eight of these that exist.
