One of the most memorable photos from the war was taken on V-J day, the day of Victory over Japan, on August 14, 1945 by photographer Alfred Eisenstadt. This item is an 8x10 photo, signed by the two in the picture, Edith Shain, then a nurse, and USN Navy sailor Carl Muscarello during a brief encounter in times square. The photo made the cover of Life Magazine. RARE!
