(1868-1937) As editor of the 'Saturday Evening Post' begining in 1889, he played the taste of middle America to make it the nation's most widely read magazine for the next 30 years. He was named president of Curtis Publishing in 1932-1994 and chairman of the board from 1934 until his death. This item is a typed letter signed in fountain pen by Mr. Lorimer in 1927. There is some feathering on the signature and some age wear on the page.
