(1890-1965) Silent Film and vaudeville stage actor, he appeared in his first 'Laurel and Hardy' film with Oliver Hardy in 1927's 'Duck Soup', and then did countless films as a comic dou with Hardy thereafter, establishing a place in Hollywood forever. He received an SAG Lifetime achievement award and a Special Honorary Acadamy Award for his contributions to the art. This piece contains a great b/w photograph, professionaly matted with a vintage signed typed letter, dated August 18th, 1956. Also included in the mat is a small color stamp of 'Oliver & Hardy' that Stan used to stick on envelopes when he mailed out letters to friends. The letter has routine personal content. The overall size is 14x18 and it is ready to frame. This is awesome!
