One of the most memorable photos from World War II was taken on V-J day, the day of Victory over Japan, on August 14, 1945 by photographer Alfred Eisenstadt. The photo is signed by the two in the picture, Edith Shain, then a nurse, and USN Navy sailor Carl Muscarello during a brief encounter in times square. The photo made the cover of Life Magazine. The item is professionally double matted, measures 11x14 and is ready to be framed. RARE!
